Snappy Shopper appoints new Chief Growth Officer

  • Uncategorized

Having partnered with Snappy Shopper throughout their rapid growth journey, we are delighted to have supported them on another significant leadership appointment.

Joining Snappy Shopper as Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Daniel Calvert has relocated from Berlin to join the leadership team in Dundee and brings an exciting mix of SME and Blue Chip Technology business experience with him. Previously with MYMY, Uber, Google and Adidas in senior Sales, Partnerships and Commercial Leadership roles, Dan brings a wealth of business development, marketing, strategic planning, and data led customer insight experience to the newly created role of CGO.

A CGO is more than a sales and marketing specialist. They blend expertise in marketing, sales, product development and finance to achieve a business’ strategic objectives. They must understand the customer, understand and spot market trends, harness technology, and act as a key commercial partner and influencer across the business as a whole. The rise of the CGO is becoming ever more prevalent, and not just in fast growing tech companies but also with global giants such as Coca-Cola and Johnson and Johnson – both recently creating CGO roles to report to their CEO.

It’s been great to support Snappy Shopper as they continue to be the forefront of both technology and leadership innovation!

FWB Park Brown wishes Dan alongside CEO Mike Callaghan, HRD Caroline MacGregor and everyone at Snappy Shopper the best in their continued growth efforts and look forward to following their continued success.
