The Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) has announced the appointment of Jude McCorry as its next Chief Executive. Jude will join SBRC in April, taking over from Eamonn Keane who has been acting in the role since Mandy Haeburn-Little stepped down in August last year.

Jude joins the SBRC from The Data Lab (Scotland’s Innovation Centre for data and AI) where, as Business Development Director, she has helped establish initiatives such as the Data for Children Collaborative. A partnership between UNICEF, The Scottish Government and the University of Edinburgh’s Data Driven Innovation Programme, the Data for Children Collaborative uses data and data science techniques to improve outcomes for children locally, nationally and globally.

Jude brings to the SBRC over 15 years’ experience in the Technology Sector including spells with Dell, Firefly Communications, Xnet Data Storage, and in Academia where, at Edinburgh Napier University, she helped set up its commercial arm, The Edinburgh Institute.

Commenting on the appointment Graham Burns said: “we are delighted to have advised The Scottish Business Resilience Centre on the appointment of Jude McCorry as Chief Executive particularly having previously advised on the last permanent CEO appointment of Mandy Haeburn-Little in 2011. We wish Jude and the whole team at the SBRC every success going forward.”
