Ailsa is based in our Edinburgh office and has more than 25 years’ experience in Executive Search. She has worked with the leadership teams of organisations of all sizes from pre-revenue through to large listed global companies and across all sectors including private & public sector, charity and academia.

Ailsa originally worked in the publishing industry before moving into Executive Search in London in 1996, becoming a Managing Consultant within the PSD Group’s search & selection practice in 2002. On returning to Scotland, she worked for Hudson Global Resources in Executive Search. She joined FWB in 2008, became a Director of the business in 2014, joined the Main Board in 2016 and is now a shareholder.

Ailsa is a Non-Executive Director for Business Beats Cancer/Cancer Research UK and was previously a Council member of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and a Trustee of The Princes Trust.
