FWB Park Brown and the University of Edinburgh Business School launch the Executive Leadership Programme

FWB Park Brown and The University of Edinburgh Business School are delighted to launch the Executive Leadership Programme. Strong leadership skills have never been more important as we have all seen through this pandemic and so this programme will target the next generation of leaders across Scotland’s private, public and non-profit sectors. Over the last four years we have run The Executive Women’s Leadership Programme for women moving into the Boardroom with Business School, and over 220 delegates have graduated from this programme with significant positive impact on their careers. They come from all parts of the economy and have become a strong and powerful network, providing learning, support and business opportunities for each other. Many of our clients, having seen the impact of the programme on their colleagues, have asked if we would do something similar for a mixed gender group of aspiring talent in their organisations, and we feel there has never been a better time or need for this.

Our new programme – The Executive Leadership Programme – will run from March-May 2021 with sessions designed to cover relevant development areas for those with leadership and Board potential. The programme will be a mix of academic learning focusing on case studies and discussion, with each session led by a Business School Professor who is an expert in the topic, and a successful CEO or Chair who will describe very frankly and honestly their own challenges and successes in dealing with germane issues throughout their career. The programme has been designed to be very interactive with group discussions, plenary sessions and informal Chatham House Rules Q&A with the guest speakers. The delegates will learn a great deal of practical advice about succeeding in business in a very interactive format, not only from the Professors and Keynote speakers, but also from each other, which will lead to a strong and influential network which will continue to grow, enabling them to develop strong relationships for business and personal development. Given the online nature of this programme we would also encourage applications from international based delegates.
