  • Michael Mustard is Tesco Bank’s new Legal Director, having joined from Citibank in London. Ben Sklaroff also joins as Head of Audit (IT and Change) from Standard Life and Matt Cross is the new Analytics Director and joins from Virgin Money.
  •  Ciaran Kennedy has been appointed Group Finance Director of Havelock Europa plc and joins from May Gurney Highway Services, where he was Finance Director for their Public Sector business prior to the company’s acquisition by Kier Group plc when he became Operations Director for Kier’s Scottish Utilities business. He was previously MD of Ennstone Johnston.
  • Sian Lloyd-Rees is the new Head of Strategy & Marketing for Aker Solutions UK and Greg Scott has been appointed VP Process & Improvement for Aker Subsea. Sian was previously Head of Global Accounts for Oracle and Greg was Technical Director with Ace Winches having spent the majority of his career with NCR.  Aker is a global business providing oilfield products, systems and services for the oil and gas industry worldwide.
  • Peter Duthie is the new CEO of SEC Ltd, incorporating the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) and SSE Hydro. He was previously the company’s Commercial Director.
  • Smith Anderson, one of the UK’s largest paper bag manufacturers, has appointed Dave Marriot as Finance Director. He is formerly of Unilever and Amcor Flexibles.
  • Craig Dougall has been appointed as Corporate Planning Manager to Babcock Marine & Technology.  Was previously a Management Consultant with Logica (now CGI) Business Consulting.
  • The Royal Highland Agricultural Society, which amongst other things runs ‘The Highland Show’ has appointed Lisa Maule as Commercial Director. She was previously Marketing & Communications Director of DF Concerts & Events.
  • Aubin have appointed Katy Gifford as Finance Director having spent a number of years in senior international finance roles with Wood Group and Stolt Offshore.  Aubin creates bespoke elegant solutions using material technology for complex engineering challenges.
  • Steven McGarva is the new Scottish Director for Ashfield Land, the property development and investment specialists, and will be responsible for projects in Scotland and future business development and expansion. He joins from Graham & Sibbald where he was a Partner.
  • Hargreaves Services plc, leaders in solid fuel supply and bulk material logistics, has appointed Angus Douglas as Finance Director of Hargreaves Surface Mining. He was previously a Divisional MD with Howden and UK FD of Rosti McKechnie.
  • Craig Lennox was appointed Group Services Director with ASCO, a leading international oilfield support services business, and has subsequently been appointed Chief Executive of its European business. Craig was CIO with Acergy, before assuming a lead role with a Murray Capital investment and then was Chief Executive of Richard Irvin Group.
  • Chris Hunter has joined Arran Aromatics as Sales Director and is formerly of Maxiim/TotalPDA where he held the same position.
  • Roxburghe Estates new Head of Finance is Jacqueline McElhinney, previously Commercial Director of Andrew Muirhead.
  • Rear Admiral Chis Hockley is to be the new Chief Executive of The MacRobert Trust, joining from HM Forces Royal Navy.
  • Green Highland Renewables, a specialist in small scale hydro schemes has appointed Richard Round as CEO. He has been CFO of Aquamarine Power for the last four years.
  • Simon Belfer is to be the new Finance Director of Napier University. He joins from having built his career previously with Scottish & Newcastle plc and NHS National Services Scotland, where he was FD.
  • Bill Herron has been appointed Technical Director of STATS Group and joins from IHC Engineering having previously been Chief Consulting Engineer at GE PII Pipeline Solutions.  STATS provides full service capability for the maintenance, repair and modification of oil and gas installations and pipelines, onshore and offshore.
  • City of Edinburgh Council has appointed Linda Holden as Head of Organisational Development. She joined from CHC Helicopters where she was HR Director.
  • Carolyn Spencer, formerly Head of Digital Development at Sainsburys Bank, has joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) as Digital Transformation Director.
  • Seafish Industry Authority has appointed Mel Groundsell as Corporate Relations Director. She was previously Head of Communications with Scottish Fire & Rescue Service. Seafish is an NDPB set up by the Fisheries Act 1981 to improve efficiency and raise standards across the seafish industry.
  • Rene Hamilton is the new General Manager at The Walled Garden for Archerfield Estates, having joined from Babcock International Group where she was Retail & Operations Manager.
  • Celia Clark, formerly of Baker Hughes in Houston, has joined Swire Oilfield Services as Head of Finance, Europe & Asia. The business is part of the Swire Group and is the world’s largest supplier of specialist offshore cargo units to the global energy industry.  Also Clint Parson has been appointed as Global Supply Chain Manager and joins from Stork Technical Services.
  • Macfarlan Smith, a division of Johnson Matthey and the world’s leading pharmaceutical supplier specialising in opiate narcotics, has appointed Jayne Muir as Business intelligence Manager. Previously she was Head of Market Research for Cambrex.
  • Wayne Henderson has been appointed Business Development Director at Rentair, the specialist rental company supporting the offshore oil and gas sector following its acquisition by private equity investors SCF Partners. Wayne was previously with Stork Technical Services in a senior BD role having spent his formative career with GlaxoSmithKline in the UK and overseas.
