Susan Aitkenhead has joined the Royal College of Nursing in the hugely important role of Director, Scotland, from her previous role as Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for England. A registered nurse for 33 years, she trained at Glasgow Western and Glasgow South Colleges of Nursing. One of Scotland’s first Consultant Nurses, Susan has had a diverse nursing career in clinical and professional leadership roles.

Dalmore Capital is an independent fund manager providing investors with access to long term opportunities in infrastructure assets. Rachel Turnbull has been appointed as Managing Director of a new subsidiary and joins with Des French as Operations Director, both joining from from Semperian PPP Investment Partners / Imagile Group.

Following an extensive talent search exercise, Sky has appointed Michelle Duchan, Vish Bagga and Herbie Cheema as Head of Service Operations across three different UK locations in their market leading Customer Service Group.

The Scottish Football Association has appointed Rucelle Soutar as its Chief Financial Officer. She joins from the Royal Military Tattoo where she was the Chief Operating Officer.

Subsea energy storage and energy generation specialist EC-OG has appointed Bob MacDonald as Chair. He brings a wealth of experience across the energy transition and industrial markets and will support the business as it gears up for a period of rapid growth. Bob was previously Chief Executive Officer of Wood’s Specialist Technology Solutions division.

The Promise Oversight Board has been set up following the Government’s independent care review which listened to thousands of experiences from in and around the care system. The Board will now make sure Scotland makes the changes needed and it will be wide-ranging and representative of Scotland’s system of care.
