Vice President Renewables – Energy service company

Our client is privately-owned energy sector service group working worldwide.

To reflect the high level of commitment to exploiting new market opportunities within the renewables sector, the organisation has identified the need for a Vice President Renewables.

He/she will be tasked with developing and implementing the growth strategy for the company’s ambitions within the renewable energy sector, focussed on further developing and integrating a compatible yet independently profitable business stream.

Reporting directly to the COO, the Vice President will initially seek operational, commercial and technical support from the core organisation, with a view to establishing a dedicated support infrastructure once the business plan justifies such investment.

Candidates for this appointment must possess a proven track record in growth and business leadership ideally gained within the renewable energy sector, and demonstrate a successful history in the pursuit of new business, management of customer relationships and developing winning tender strategies.

This enthusiastic and self-motivated achiever will ideally possess an in-depth knowledge of the offshore wind and/or tidal energy sector.
