Nabors Industries (NYSE: NBR) owns and operates the world’s largest land-based drilling rig fleet and is a leading provider of offshore drilling rigs in the United States and multiple international markets. Nabors also provides innovative drilling technology and equipment, directional drilling and comprehensive oilfield services in most of the significant oil and gas markets in the world.

Nabors has recently entered a joint venture with Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called SANAD, which will supply all land drilling in the Kingdom over the coming years. Saudi Aramco and Nabors will each contribute land rigs to the Joint Venture in the first years of operation along with capital commitments toward future onshore drilling rigs which will be manufactured in Saudi Arabia.

As their operations evolve in the region Nabors is focused on expanding their presence and product offering in the region, including cutting edge drilling technology, directional drilling capability and drilling instrumentation and software services. As the Company works through this process of transformation, they are looking for an experienced and proven senior leader to continue to oversee and facilitate growth with their presence in the entire Eastern Hemisphere, which currently includes countries in the Middle East, Oceania, Europe, Asia and Africa.

This role will report to the President, Global Drilling and Engineering. The role will be located in Dubai and will be responsible for all Nabors products and services, including oversight of the SANAD joint venture in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will need to possess strong leadership skills, business development, an understanding of drilling technology, oilfield services and strong experience working with Saudi Aramco and in the region. This role requires a deep understanding of the local culture.
