Subsurface Solution Centre Manager

The OGTC has been created to become the ‘go to’ world class technology centre for developing, adapting and deploying technology in support to the oil and gas industry. Working through Solution Centres and local Centres of Excellence, the OGTC is committed to not only maximising the economic recovery of the North Sea, but also doubling associated oil and gas supply chain exports over the next ten years.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Subsurface Solution Centre Manager will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Subsurface Solution Centre and will be expected to add value technically, strategically and operationally across other Solution Centres. This individual will be responsible for building critical relationships with industry stakeholders including operators, service suppliers and technology innovators as well as academia.

We are seeking an experienced subsurface professional who will have experience working at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry, ideally from within an E&P business, and coordinating and interfacing with key stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to shape both the OGTC and influence the industry to develop and adopt innovative subsurface technologies, processes and techniques which drive delivery of MER UK.
