Operations Manager

Inframark is a US leader in water infrastructure operations and infrastructure management services. The company employs more than 1,500 people serving more than 300 clients in 20 states.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for two wastewater facilities being operated in Bridgeport, CT. Both the East and the West facilities have a large unionised team that run and operate the plants.

The appointee will report directly to the Bridgeport Project Director.  There are three direct reports to the Operations Manager, with an additional group of nearly 60 employees below that.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance activities of the two Bridgeport wastewater plants.

The successful candidate must be a strong leader, self-motivated professional with the ability to work with a large diverse workforce, while operating two facilities efficiently and safely. He/she will have previous experience in similar sized facility and preferably a CT Class 3 or 4 Wastewater Licence or the ability to get one. An ABC Licence would be an advantage.
