Operations Director

Johnstons of Elgin, is an iconic Scottish brand which is incredibly proud of its rich Scottish heritage, spanning 225 years.  They are one of Europe’s most successful and innovative companies in the design and manufacture of luxury cashmere and fine woollens, supplying many of the world’s leading fashion houses and their own globally admired brand.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Operations Director to provide leadership, strategic direction and support to the operational management teams to ensure the maximisation of production efficiency, lowering unit costs, improving production throughput and growing capacity.

This role reports directly to the CEO and, as a member of the senior leadership team will therefore be expected to contribute to overall group strategy.

The successful candidate need not necessarily have experience in the luxury textiles market, but will be expected to be able to lead our technically skilled ops management team, improve processes and introduce lean methods, make use of technology and be able to think creatively and strategically about how we grow and improve our business.
