Managing Director

Our client is a leading, international waste infrastructure and services operator. With experience stretching back over 30 years across continental Europe, our client has committed to significant investment in the UK with the development and construction of a substantial Integrated Waste Management Facility & Energy Centre in south east England. We are now seeking to appoint a Managing Director to oversee the construction, commissioning and operation of the facility. The role will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the construction phase, and be charged with developing and implementing the operational and commercial infrastructure required ahead of commissioning. Thereafter, the role will assume full management responsibility for the facility – operationally, commercially, and financially.

We are seeking an individual with strong operational leadership and general management abilities, ideally from within an industrial services or broader B2B support services environment. Strong business and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills, are critical. A background in engineering would be advantageous.
