Head of Products

Our client is a Glasgow based financial services provider, with a mission to help people achieve a lifetime of financial security. They provide a range of investment and protection products and provide products and services to other financial organisations.

As a key member of the commercial function you will be responsible for the development and management of a wide range of products. You will also be accountable for new product development, product assurance and change management along with Value for Money assessments on both open and closed products.

You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and will be responsible for the daily management of teams that include change, pricing, product development, assurance and partnerships. Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with different internal functions including marketing, IT, customer experience, risk and actuarial along with external partners will be key.

Responsibilities will further include:

• Development and maintenance of an innovative suit of products
• Design of new products that comply with the company’s operational capabilities
• Liaising with partners, internal stakeholders and reinsurers in respect of product development and product change
• Managing strategic plans to maximise sales and profit
• Review and assess product impact of changes in FCA rules and guidelines
• Comply with all regulatory and corporate governance standards

We would love to hear from you if you have strong interpersonal skills, are focused on partnership and stakeholder management and experience with working around multiple deadlines from internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial management and business acumen and financial services experience will be essential.
