Head of People Operations

FWB are partnering with AG Barr to recruit an exceptional Head of People Operations to join its People Leadership team, reporting to the People and Communications Director.

This role, reporting to the People and Communications Director and part of the People Leadership Team, is service and experience orientated with a critical focus on People Operations delivery.

The role provides a professional, proactive and responsive service to colleagues across the organisation, and also on People Function expertise including payroll, policy, systems, data and reward. This is a key role in developing and supporting the implementation of the People strategy, tracking and measuring key milestones and deliverables to ensure delivery of the strategy on time and within budget. This role will provide both strategic and operational leadership to translate the People strategy into actionable roadmaps, goals and priorities which optimises resources and performance. Enhancing their data and insight capabilities to inform decision making will also be a key part of this role which will ultimately guide their actions as a function and as a business.

In addition to leading high quality day to day people operations activity, the role will have a focus on the implementation of the people strategy for the areas of People Function expertise noted above (policy, systems, data and reward), bringing external knowledge and insights to drive progressive people thinking and application.

Within this role there is also a key focus on operational efficiency, innovation and transformation, regarding people, process and technology. As a result, a continuous improvement mindset and highly colleague experience / customer service driven approach to operations is required.

We are therefore seeking a dynamic and inspirational approach to leading people as well as change, an ability to influence and drive actions across all levels, an extremely high standard for service and operations and a strong track record within People / Human Resources Operations (including People Ops, Payroll, Reward, People Data and Systems, Helpdesk, Case and Policy and Employee Relations).

This role can be based at any of the key sites for AG Barr, including Head Office In Cumbernauld/Glasgow, Milton Keynes and Middlebrook. The company operates hybrid working and will require travel to HQ / Cumbernauld if based at one of the other sites.
