Head of Operations

The Head of Operations is to lead the team within the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland that maintains and develops the Royal Highland Centre, as well as the event delivery team responsible for physically presenting the venue for users.

This includes direct, day-to-day responsibility for the Estates team of eight and the Event Delivery team of six.  The Estates team maintain the grounds, gardens, car parks buildings and other facilities contained within the 280 acres of the Royal Highland Centre, whilst the Event Delivery team ensure that the event organisers, who hire out the indoor and outdoor events space for over 200 events a year, receive a venue that fits their requirements.  You will play a key role in identifying strategic developments and improvements in the asset that is the Royal Highland Centre and, as a member of the Society’s Management Team, you will also be expected to contribute to meeting the RHASS overall objectives.
