Glenapp Castle Hotel has been growing rapidly and sustainably for over seven years with significant investment. We are a destination hotel with 65+ activities and experiences and with a food and service offering at its very heart. The hotel boasts stunning historic designed gardens and a walled garden dating back almost 200 years. We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Head of Events to work alongside the rest of the senior team who will bring rigour, attention to detail and exceptional customer service focus to the role.
The Head of Events is responsible for planning year-round experiences and bringing these visions to life through the management and planning of approximately 150 events annually at Glenapp Castle. You will work closely with the operations departments during the planning processes and at the point of service delivery.
You will be experienced in the sector, with exceptional communication skills and have a strong track record in events management. You should have a Degree or Diploma in Hotel and Events Management or equivalent, or a minimum of 6 years’ previous experience at a senior level in a Hotel, Events Centre or Event Catering Company.
