Director General

A new Director General is sought for IFFO, the global membership body for the marine ingredients industry with members across 55 countries in every continent.

The Director General (DG) reports to the board, which is international in both its composition and outlook and is drawn from the membership. The DG is responsible for ensuring that members interests are represented globally across private, public and political sectors, implementing the vision and strategy and ensuring that the organisation is highly effective, financially strong and operationally exceptionally well managed.

Based in London this leadership appointment offers considerable variety, worldwide travel and being part of a small flexible team within a successful, well established and respected organisation. The DG is also responsible for offices in Lima, Peru and Beijing, China.

Suitable candidates will be excellent leaders, with first class interpersonal and influencing/communication abilities. They will be comfortable working internationally and understand that this job requires frequent travel.
