Director of Finance and Corporate Services

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is one of the Scottish Government’s designated National Companies, one of Europe’s leading symphony orchestras and an arts organisation with a long and prestigious history. Following its move to the new purpose built RSNO Centre it now has a strong platform for further growth and success.

They are seeking a creative and inspiring individual to join them. The Director of Finance and Corporate Services will be a member of the RSNO Senior Management Team and responsible to the Chief Executive for financial planning, budgeting, statutory accounting and administration. They will lead a small but highly effective team, and this position therefore requires the willingness not only to work strategically, but also at a ‘hands-on’ level.

Candidates will be qualified accountants with strong leadership skills and extensive experience of budgeting, longer-term financial planning and management reporting. Responsibilities will also encompass HR, Company Secretarial, IT, Commercial Contracts and liaising with RSNO’s Lawyers as required.
