The primary role of the CFO will be in the provision of financial leadership, advice and decision-making support to the Chairman, CEO and other Board members as well as, of course, a wider contribution on business issues in order to support successful growth.

Candidates will be professionally qualified with relevant experience. A background in international operations, joint ventures, foreign exchange management and the manufacturing sector would be advantageous, as would experience of the dynamics and culture of a private family business as well as a larger, more public environment. What is key however is self-confidence, decisiveness and resilience – and the ability to thrive under pressure and lead in a complex business.
