Chief Financial Officer

Our client, Windhoist is a leading international business that provides services to the renewable energy industry. The business has recently been invested in by Private Equity firm Star Capital Partnership and is experiencing high revenue growth.

The CFO will report to the CEO as part of the senior leadership team and is responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. The CFO’s duties include tracking cash flow forecasts, financial planning, budgets, and production of management accounts, analysing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. They will establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of professional advisors, clients, investors, internal and external stakeholders whilst keeping tight cost control, and leveraging their relevant expertise (UK and international taxation, legal structuring, financial regulation, HR matters/people management and regulatory compliance).

This is a wide-ranging role, across multiple entities and jurisdictions, demanding tax and payroll knowledge, commerciality and a highly organised mindset. We are seeking a CFO who will drive and champion EBITDA growth whilst acting as a partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

Essential experience:

• POC project accounting
• framework agreements and long term contracts
• working in support services, contracting, construction, development etc.
• international, multi-jurisdictional environment building and managing a high performing Finance function
