Business Development Director

The opportunity has arisen for a new Business Development Director (BD Director) to join a fast-growing and acquisitive consultancy firm.

Reporting to the Managing Partner and Board, BD Director will assume the responsibility for the evolution and implementation of the Business Development strategy that focuses on key growth sectors including (i) Scaling up SME, (ii) Energy and Renewables (iii) Technology and (iv) Family Owned Businesses whilst retaining presence and focus on the broader markets in which they operate.

The Business Development function has responsibility for:

• Origination and New Business Development
• Account Management and Cross-Sell Opportunities between the functions and business units (ie introducing existing Corporate Finance clients to another discipline and service line in the business)
• Marketing and Events
• Internal commercial development and coaching

The BD Director will work collaboratively and closely with Partners to promote our business within their respective markets in the most engaging and appropriate manner. They will drive forward Key Client programmes, motivate the Business Development team and develop a digital & event led marketing strategy that ensures the brand
is visible, clear and attractive to customers.

Salary: £70,000 – £100,000
