FWB Park Brown Leadership Dinner 2019

More than 100 leaders of Scottish headquartered businesses, both public and private and across all sectors, gathered on the evening of the 31^st October at the Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh for FWB Park Brown’s annual Leadership Dinner. Congregating in the prestigious Castle suite, guests networked with refreshments before moving through to the main hall for a welcome address by FWB Park Brown Director Judy Wagner.

Keynote Speaker John Allan CBE, Chair of Tesco PLC, Barratt Developments PLC and President of the CBI gave a thought-provoking presentation and shared an insightful perspective on business leadership in our current economic climate. He then posed a number of questions for the guests to discuss over dinner on pertinent topics and challenges including commitment to stakeholders; climate change; the effect of technology on employment and alignment to Europe, all of which made for entertaining and enlightening discussions and plenary Q&A.

Altogether, a relaxed but focused evening highlighting the need for personal engagement in a modern and fast-paced business economy.
