SEC in an iconic gem situated in the heart of Glasgow which has hosted enormously important events including COP 26 in 2021.  Events held at the SEC campus – from Kylie Minogue to  Strictly Come Dancing – touch the lives of thousands of people every year from across the world and the organisation makes a significant impact on the Scottish economy.

We are looking for an inspirational Chief Executive Officer to join SEC who will lead the business strategically, commercially and operationally, helping to maintain SECs competitive edge in the global market and driving additional growth.

The opportunity to join as our new Chief Executive comes at an exciting time and we are seeking an individual who can develop strategy; someone with high levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to influence internally and externally, who has experience of managing a team with diverse skills and who has operated in a similarly complex environment.  Sector background is not essential, however, we would like candidates to be able to demonstrate successful leadership of a customer-centric business.

Candidates will be motivated to provide the dynamic and inspiring leadership required to ensure SECs continued success and will support its vision, mission and values.
