Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Founded in 1993 Rabbie’s now operate one of the largest selection of scheduled tours in the UK and Ireland with a vision to make the world a better place through travel. Rabbies is an open, friendly, positive, and welcoming group of people. They like to ‘live life’ and explore places that have stories to tell. They’re renowned for delivering exceptional customer experiences because of how they look after our guests, each other, and the communities and the environments they travel through.

Following the pandemic, Rabbie’s is now experiencing a huge pent-up demand, along with this, recent investment from leading private equity house Piper has allowed the business to plan an exciting 5-year plan with a further expansion of tours throughout the UK and further into Europe. Rabbie’s is seeking an ambitious CFO to help drive these adventurous plans forward and achieve their goals.

The CFO will be a key business partner to the MD and the rest of the board to ensure the business plan for Rabbie’s is achieved, the culture is maintained and shareholders achieve their objectives. Key elements include: Taking responsibility for Rabbie’s financial performance & management, leading the company in its development of financial controls, reporting systems and analysis of company performance and being the champion of cash and profitability to ensure sustainable growth but not to detriment of the Rabbie’s brand or culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an existing or possibly first time CFO to play a key role in the growth of Rabbie’s.
