Finance Director

Our client is a globally integrated provider of aviation services. It seeks an experienced and fully qualified accountant for the newly created role of Finance Director for a specialist division currently generating revenues of circa £150m and employing 550 employees. In support of its continued expansion, the business now needs a higher level of commercial and strategic support going forward. The mandate of the Finance Director is to enhance the Company’s performance and value by providing financial expertise and leadership to the analysis, evaluation, planning, and execution related to existing and potential business activities and strategies.  The Finance Director will contribute to the short-term and long-term financial health of the Company through the safeguarding of assets, effective management of capital, and the development and implementation of financial policies, controls, and reporting systems that provide accurate and timely financial and management information to support business decisions.

Our client seeks a pro-active, experienced, finance professional attuned to the complexities, pressures and challenges associated with managing a robust operational and strategic financial regime. Experienced in successfully managing the often complex financial challenges associated with a dynamic asset-based commercial model, the appointee will be comfortable with anticipating and satisfying the strategic and operational financial reporting needs of a supportive but demanding parent company.
