Situated on the banks of the Bladnoch River near Wigtown, Bladnoch Distillery has a rich history dating back to 1817. It is the southernmost Scotch Whisky distillery in Scotland and one of the oldest producers of rare Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Bladnoch was bought by Australian entrepreneur, David Prior, in 2015 and is enjoying an exciting revival with investment in a completely new distilling operation earlier this year.

Bladnoch Distillery is looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer to lead the business in Scotland working in close collaboration with the existing team. This is a unique opportunity to join an indigenous Scottish business with ambitious global development plans and to contribute to its growth and success.

Candidates will:

• Have a self-starting entrepreneurial approach
• Be hands on and understand the business at a detailed level
• Have experience of driving a business and P&L
• Be an experienced Operations professional from a manufacturing environment ideally in the food and drink sector
• Work closely with the CEO / owner and Master Distiller to build the value of the asset
