Charles Hammond and Andrew Kerr speak at dinner hosted by FWB Park Brown and EY

Charles Hammond, CEO of Forth Ports and Andrew Kerr, CEO of The City of Edinburgh Council spoke recently at a dinner co-hosted by FWB Park Brown and EY.

The dinner on an evening in March was held on the top floor of EY’s Edinburgh offices with fantastic views over the city. Stephen Reid, Public Sector Partner and Neil MacLennan, Advisory Partner together with their team at EY hosted alongside Adam Brown and Willie Finlayson from FWB Park Brown. They were joined by a number of CEOs and Chairs from both the private and public sectors, representing a wide range of SMEs -to large multinationals.

During dinner Andrew and Charles spoke about the current challenges that they are experiencing in their organisations and how they are addressing them. Afterwards there was a lively and wide ranging debate covering topics such as where represented businesses were seeing greater collaboration between the public and private sectors and what else could be done to enable this partnership approach.
